GENERAL REGULATIONS

PER PERSON CHARGES
This will be based on the number of guests confirmed one week prior to the function, or the number of guests attending the function, whichever is the greater.

FOR RESTAURANT FUNCTIONS
A minimum guest number of 80 is required.  The maximum capacity is 120 people seated. A signed agreement is required, along with a non-refundable deposit of $1500 which will be deducted from the final account.  Initial pencil bookings will be held for 7 working days only.

BAR AND MUSIC FACILITIES
Music to conclude 30 minutes prior to the function closing time (23:30), bar service is to conclude at midnight. Premises are to be vacated by 30 minutes after the function closing time (00:30). During the function the Cable Bay Manager has absolute discretion over music volume and can request that music is turned down or off.

NON - SMOKING
All enclosed and semi-enclosed areas of the facility are non-smoking.

METHOD OF PAYMENT
This is to be decided before the function commences.

MENUS AND BEVERAGE
The Functions Manager shall liaise with the Client regarding food and beverage selection. This will change subject to season and availability.  Where a menu or beverage item cannot be supplied, CBV will make its best endeavours to keep the Client informed and substitute with similar quality.

No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into the premises (or removed from the premises) with the exception of the Wedding cake.

Only wines from Cable Bay Vineyards will be served with the exception of champagne/bubbles and dessert wines.

Under all circumstances, any food remaining at the conclusion of the function remains the property of Cable Bay Vineyards.

IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION
In the event a confirmed booking is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled by the Client FOR WHATEVER REASON, the deposit paid is forfeited and retained by CBV.

If the Event is cancelled more than 7 days from the date of the function, any monies advanced for food/ per-person charge shall be refunded to the Client.

If the Event is cancelled within 7 days from the date of the function CBV reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the food/ per-person charge. 

If the Event is cancelled within 3 days from the date of the function, CBV reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal 100% to the food/ per-person charge.

If the venue cannot be made available for causes beyond the control CBV, the client may opt to:

(a)      reschedule their event; or
(b)      cancel the event and have the deposit refunded in full.

CBV will not be responsible for any additional costs, damages or losses resulting from such a postponement or cancellation.

LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The client accepts full responsibility for any loss or damage to any property belonging to Cable Bay Vineyards where such damage was caused by the client or any of its agents or guests.

No confetti please, this includes rice and glitter etc.  A $75 charge will apply in the event of our staff having to clean up any confetti.  To avoid this please inform your guests in advance.
